Small Coil Problems

I just received my 5" coil for the T2 after instillation I turned the machine on and constantly git an overload with the sirene sound. I have lowered the sensitivity down to 40 tried all of the tones and even raised the ground balance but nothing works, I even tried another bolt for the coil a solid nylon bolt for the CZ detectors nothing works. Any suggestions?

Mine did same thing. I fixed this problem by changing original Teknetics bolt&nut with nylon ones, because original nut contains metal inside. It works OK with original coil, but drives smaller coil crazy. Using nylon bolts&nuts all the time after that.

Do you have a alum. lower shaft if so change it to plastic

Sounds like a bad coil
