General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

hi all, after a couple of detectors...i am in australia so this might pose a problem as i noticed not many members ship here :sadwalk:

I recently made a deal with a really nice gentleman down in New South Wales for a 300mm coil I had F/S and it was really not a hassle on my end at all as far as shipping it . . just a couple of very short, basic information forms. I don't have any of the machines on your list ( I DO have a very nice MXT) but if I did I'd have no problem dealing with you. As long as you're willing to accept the extra shipping costs there really is no other reason I can see not to ship to Australia. I hope someone can come through for you . . .good luck.

i've heard only good things over on our aussie forum about the trades here. i've brought one detector off here and i couldnt be any happier!
 
Sadly, on Craig's List, eBay, and elsewhere, all sorts of scams involving overseas "buyers" exist. That may be making some folks hesitant, even though I'd like to think such activity is far less likely here. I've done business with folks in Australia and elsewhere with no problems, and you can certainly get scammed within your own country, but I understand why some are nervous about the idea.

No problem . . you"re welcome. The coil I sold was actually a Super 12 (same thing) and the last I heard he was already making some good finds with it . . .that was great to hear. Also felt like I made a friend with someone halfway across the world and that could only be good. Glad you're happy with your deal . .a lot of really solid people to do business with here. Good luck . .

I highly recommend Belda's out of Bend, Oregon. I don't know what his policy is on overseas, but I met Mark a few weeks ago and he seems very knowledgeable and very friendly. My daughters and I (new to MD) popped in on him at 1000am and he stopped what he was doing and gave us some pointers and showed us some of his finds from around the world. Here is his website.
