Smart or Digital

Which do you pros prefer?Which is more acurate?
And do you use one exclusively and why?Oh yeah,
I've wanted to ask Mike if that picture in Lost Treasure is of him or some other proud Explorer owner.

I hunt exclusively in the Smart mode. Although the Digital display has features the smart screen does not. Like indicating an oversize object. I find the Smart display provides more target information and more discrimination options.

Not sure which the pro's use but I use both.
If your asking which mode is better or more accurate, Smartfind is without a doubt better and more accurate.
I do hunt most of the time in Digital(not exclusively), I also find that when communicating to others it is easier to say "it was a 28," or "it was a 6." Of course "it was a bouncer" is understood in both modes. I use Smartfind when I think it's needed, and that's usually when I'm not sure about a target and wish to analyze it using more info.
A real deep goodie sound the same in either mode.

Ken, doesn't what ever discrimination pattern you set up in the Learn or Edit screens get applied to both Smartfind and Digital -including Iron Mask settings?

Thanks Guys,
I got called out right after I posted my question
and didn't get back till about 4:45am and still had to ga to work at 8:30.I'm just getting in and reading your responses and they are appreciated.
Happy hunting and God Bless,
Tex D.

I have yet to see the magazine ads in person... still trying to hunt down one <IMG SRC="/forums/images/smile.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":)"> I always use smartfind... gives me much more info on target than a number. HH, Mike.
