Snow is almost gone

It has been no fun reading all the posts from the people who can hunt year around. But they are great to read! With the warm spell that hit us this week in Wisconsin, the ground might be unthawed by next Friday. It might be now, but is very sloppy. Time to start streching and bending again so the first day out isn't so bad the next day. With the rain this coming weekend, the frost should be gone.

Hey jimb I got the ex2 out this am in Burlington. Got the 4.5 x 7 coil and just couldn't wait. Good targets but rock hard ground and snow predicted for weekend. Springs coming sometime.

Did you go to the one old park or a privat area?
I know the corn fields are not froze. We got a truck stuck yesterday out in Dover. MUD mud mud..

Might be the reason you guys seem to have more silver still in the ground??? Gotta take the bad with the good...Yeah the trees have already started to bloom here...I think everybody is probably looking forward to some nice spring weather...shouldn't be too long...:clapping:

Yep.. It snowed 4" here lastnight.. and I'm west of you. I would say it's safe to say you're going to get what I got lastnight. Man.. right when I was starting to get in the groove of going out steady...

Hey Jimb I was at an old park in Burlington. When frost goes out I'll be pounding a private 65 acre farm that had some 1800's dwellings. It's great to find a virgin spot. Should be fun. Hope you have a fantastic year.

I know. So instead of breaking out the pull tab finder I am puting new carpet in. Next month.
