SNOW PILES TREASURES

I've been watching a location in Connecticut were the town dumps the snow they remove from the streets and parking lots. It is dumped outside of town, in the country, in a large ravine where it will melt away this spring. I would think it would have all the items we loose from our cars when the door is opened and falls out, and the change we loose at the parking meters. Has anyone ever tried a spot like this and did you have any luck with it? I'm hunting with a Infinium, usually the ocean, but will be giving this spot a try. I was out the other day at a local beach but it was only 32o and the sand was like a brick. Can't wait for spring!

I have hunted the piles of snow stacked in large store parking lots. I got some loot and some earrings. I know of at least one guy who got a nice gold ring out of those snow piles. You just never know.......

I have always told job supers working on my projects at the malls to walk around the snow piles when they start melting to look for the change before the sweepers come along in the spring.

There will be goodies but also a huge ton of crappola that may drive you nuts. It's your call.
