For us Northerners, snow plow areas are natural catch-alls for anything dropped in the parking lots or sidewalks. They are full of coins, jewelry, and trash galore. I hit a likely location at sunup, and once I found the lane, it was signal city! New and old, so its not been hunted in a while. I didn't expect to get this much in such a short time, but it was just packed with coins. Notice the lack of nickles? So much high signal clad, and so much trash makes it hard to isolate them. You have to have your coil pretty high up off the ground to lock on and locate coins upon coins in spots like this. 104 coins, 8.26 total, and a '41 wheat penny. After a while, you begin to look at parking lots as if you were a plow driver, asking "Where would I push the snow"?
