I went and drove over to that school I was at yesterday. There were 20 cars there, various workers and teachers etc, so I left and went over to another school, lots of cars there too, but I did notice their gate to the football stadium was wide open as well! I did not stop though, too shy to hunt with that many people around...not prudent.. So this afternoon I went to another school while running errands and did a quick sweep and took this picture of a bunch of pennies laying in the melting snowpiles, theres 11 of them just sitting there, got a few dimes and some more P's and one Q and 3 unopened bottles of Starbucks Frappacino emerging from the snow. no jewelry though, ..like Stilpony was saying, its just amazing the amount of stuff just out there waiting for some sharp eyed hunter to come along. Its blowing cold and snowing too, in the high 20's...this is one of the best weeks of the year to be hunting schools during their Spring break, and the weather is ruining it!
Mud.

Mud.
Un-fortunately, your cold weather is drifting on down into my neck of the woods for a couple of days. Pushing 70 here today and it will have to work hard to make 50 tomorrow. Mud, hopefully this is the last gasp of winter for you. HH jim tn
