at around 1:00 a.m....put 2 hours in. I'm beat..but it was worth it. Found some nice coins and a couple other goodies.
I have no clue what the Georgius IIII coin is. I know it's British...but no idea what the denomination is!? Half penny? Anybody know? Took pics of both sides.
Also, hoping someone can help me out with a date on the Royal Engineers button!? The backmark is "Player Bros. Birmm"
Thanks for looking!

Very nice finds... I want out yesterday for 3 times that, in the bright sun light none the less, only my oldest was a 1919 wheat and nothing was silver! <img src="/metal/html/cry.gif" border=0 width=40 height=15 alt=":cry"> I kept telling myself "At least it's a nice sunny day, just a joy to be outside!" when what I was really thinking was "@%#$!*".
Pardon my punctuation.

They didn't make half-pennies or pennies in 1822. If the coin is about the size of a modern 5 cent piece, then it's a farthing.
Cheers!
