hardware store today and overhear one clerk say to another - "I was at the bank last Friday and found a gold ring in the parking lot. It had been run over but had 2 diamond chips and was 14 K". So keep your eyes open out there !! Steve in so az
 
brought one into the last club meeting that had been run over in a parking lot. Up here lots of rings and other goodies get plowed up in big parking areas into the snow piles. Many guys search them as they melt! <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">
 
check the melting snow piles. I did find that silver mexcian coin that was attached to a money clip. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
 
One time Jerry, Bob, and I went on a short trip for some detecting. We stopped at McDonalds for some coffee and while walking in Jerry found a 14k gold ring in the drive through lane. It was flat as it had been run over a few times.
