from some of you west coast guys. The forecast I looked at a day or two ago said very high waves and have been wondering if any of you have done anything? Hope so. --Jerry

Well if you go on the beach right now you most likely will get washed away real fast. the water is coming up in to the parking lots. There is still a strong storm coming in tonight sometime. Plus it has washed in a huge amount of rocks, making digging almost impossible. al least in my area it is. Gene

Did go down after work yesterday at low tide. Problem was that there was no low tide!- the waves just kept on coming in. Not much beach erosion at this beach though. However, I did get my first gold ring of the year! I will post a full report later. HH!

I looked at another newscast last night and it was showing huge mud slides and cliff erosion in some areas putting homes in danger. Really bad stuff and I hope none of this is affecting any of you. I guess sometimes we get a little over excited about high surf and the possibility of exposing some good finds. No ring is worth seeing people lose their property. You guys out there stay safe. --Jerry
