The government is willing to spend 1+ trillion dollars for Iraq war and give 1+ trillion to big banks and large insurance companies but when it comes to shelling 1+ trillion for health care for its citizens everyone is up in arms and trying to figure out how to pay for it.?? And also why are they always talking about spending money and not on trimming or eliminating programs like Department of Energy?

When they manage to put the tax payer into complete poverty then won't be any money to spend. Howard

to have the care that draws in more patients. When the government gets involved the people get the shaft! Socialized medicine is not what you want it to be. Just ask those who are currently under that type of health system why they try to get to the US of A to get their medical needs met. In fact, I heard one politician (he is a Democrat, but I don't remember his name right now) basically said the government needs to assess whether the elderly should be given treatment since they probably don't have long to live anyway (my paraphrase). He said we need to save if for younger people who will live longer!!! The bigger the government gets, the more We The People lose!!

except whine and moan. We sure talk up a storm though, but in the end, we are nothing but $$$$ signs to them.
