So what about these "PROformance" search coils?

Being a new Garrett user I was wondering if there's anything unique to these "PROformance" coils they advertise that make them so special to deserve 3 upper case letters in it title? Can anyone shed some light on this?
 
If you have ever used the the round coils that were stock on the 1250, 750, 550, you would know. The 7 x 10 and 6 x 9 are much more stable and a whole bunch tougher. Once you get used to pinpointing with them, they are head and shoulders above the old style coils.
