These are from a field I been digging in for several months, got these finds Sunday.
Notice the top left of the pic, that is an officers buckle that has been melted in a fire.
The C$ still read it at 32. In all the different brands of machines I have been testing, this C$ is still at the top for picking out those good targets in trash and high mineralization.

looks like you found a CW camp fire, that would be exciting knowing several soldiers were probably huddled around it in the mid 1800s. Nice hunt General! HH, Mike

The button on the left i found near my home here in Indiana, fine condition, Can't imagine how it ever got here <img src="/metal/html/confused.gif" border=0 width=15 height=22 alt=":?">
