I put this post on another forum after being asked to do so by snowbound people. Thought I'd post it here also. steve in so az
Here's some from the Arizona desert - maybe they will warm you up !
This is the adobe hotel at Gleeson, Az. Rick - it's right near the main road west of Courtland. Didn't find anything remarkable there.

Next is an old schoolhouse that no longer exists but I found the site - tree still there. Dug my only silver dollar there - 1879.
Here's the old jail at Courtland. Still in fair shape after all these decades.
This kiddie climber at a school produced a solid gold ring inside of it. Do you check inside things ?
Here's a local park that is very old for our area and has given up lots over the years. Note the date on the pic -middle of Dec & no snow
One time I detected all around the sidewalk strip areas and dug a bunch of coins , including 4-5 silver ones.
This is an old railroad stop dump area. we got lots of goodies here. There's a hill right next to the tracks and just over the top is the picture. They threw the trash over it, out of the wind I guess.
Lastly, here's another railroad stop in the New Mexico high desert just waiting for a detectorist. Most of the bricks have been hauled away. Just across the road we found the dump and got the most stuff. steve in so az
