Some Finds Found In The Woods With The Omega

I'm still looking for that really old brothel that Jim has stumbled upon. I think I'm getting a little closer.

I'm running the Omega at full throttle with absolutely zero EMI problems. I'm ground balancing around 59-60 and using very little or no discrimination.

I found the button about 5 inches down under a 3 inch tree root. I got a good solid nickel (gold) reading and when I saw the gold color I thought I hit the jackpot.

All the knives, nails and buckle were all in the iron range. The "round" iron rings came in the dime and quarter range.

One bullet came in the pull tab range and the other one just a tad above the zinc range.

Looks like you are in the stable area. Move a little further in and you will hit the brothel. The few buttons that I have found there that might be period just bust apart when coming out of the ground. Keep at it, I left at least one Barber coin with tabman on it. Good hunt. HH jim tn
