Hello i know everyone puts loads of posts about headphones but i need a really good pair and don't want to waste loads of money keep trying different ones. I try the big maz blues there expensive but they hurt your ears after a hour, had the pro phones they were good but just weren't loud enough compare to others and the lead broke after a couple of months. Got the koss Ur30 really good comfortable and loud but the lead ain't long enough for the fisher f series what ashame i know you can get extensions but in my experience any breaks in the lead is a bad idea. I'm really looking for comfort 1st and long lead plus they got to be loud you be surprise in the loudness between headphones i dont mind paying alot for headphones if it came to it but don't want to spend alot if there no good. i have no metal detecting shops near by so i can only mail order them plus you don't know if they hurt your ears untill you have tried them for a couple of hours. All info appreciated

Happy hunting

on the ur30s stretch the cord a bit it will get a bit longer
your ur30s have the curly cord yes?
dont get rough with it but it will stretch

i have stretched them there still not long enough everytime you put your detecter down to dig the wire pulls them off your head because there not ong enough unless its just these particular pair
but thanks anyway they are good headphones just ashame about the lead

i use them on my f70 no problem
