This unit IS bringing home the pretty stuff!
Works great! Maybe its time for the bigger coil?!
I have broken two heavy duty shovels already digging at the beach because of this detector, I HOPE TO BREAK A FEW MORE TOO!

Tony, good finds! More than enough to pay for the new shovels.

Great Finds Tony! I see you've gone PI. How deep were these finds?

Glad to see ya on here. You know me, I have to try em all myself. I have been using a PI for some time now and doing well with it. The BeachScan is doing a great job in the depth department and most impressively at ignoring JUNK items.
The chain and diamond pendant were approx 4 inches down and sounded off very solidly. The middle ring was about 10-12 and the last ring maybe 6-7.
This is one unit that I feel I am NOT wasting my time with while walking the beaches.
Just for the record, I do dig my share of hair pins and paper clips etc, but none of the teensy tiny crud. ALSO I can pretty much tell what category of metal the target most likely is before digging, BUT I will always dig what I hear, I will not take a chance. If it beeps, I dig. Real simple.
What have you been up to? I havent seen you in a REAL LONG TIME!
Tony
