Some more cellar hole finds with the Explorer SE

Got up to the Denman Mountain this weekend, I followed the old wagon road and found another cellar hole.

I started detecting along the old road and in about a half hour I found a pewter spoon and a sleigh bell.

After an afternoon of detecting I ended up finding 4 flat buttons 1 you can see has gold gilt on it, also found another pewter spoon handle, another sleigh bell, an oxen shoe, old hoe,and small brass bell. Below are pictures of the finds, and me at the old wagon road.

Good going Cellerholerat,
never know what we're going to turn up next eh?
It's like a big lucky dip out there eh?

I see by the trees it's early fall over your way,
things I guess will soon be cooling down a tad...[attachment 37905 no.gif]

Can you tell me what make, and model it is.
We don't get purpose built diggers like that down-under.
I'd really love one of those tools.

Twas another good cellar hole hunting expedition with you my friend. I put my Exterra 50 through its paces that day and had a lot of fun. It's too bad that the cold and snow flurries late in the day cut the hunt short. Maybe we will see an Indian summer and get back out there again soon....
