Got to the beach this morning around 5:15am and thought that there would not be to many surf pirates out here this Monday morning (WRONG)just as soon as I walk into the surf lane there is JT from Virginia right in front of me.Said he thought he would take the day off and come down here to Va Beach and see if he could take some of our gold back to Richmond with him.Good luck Jeff.As soon as we finished talking and he continued north I took 1 step and hit a target.Well for the next hour I did not get 200ft there were targets everywhere. I said to myself with this many targets there has to be a ring in here somewhere.Sure enough I found one but it was still dark and I could not see it real well with my light but it sure looked good.Well I continued hunting south and started to run into more surf pirates.Met a guy from northern Va down here on some police bus said his name was Walter but he had the mumbles when we parted I kept on heading south and here comes Tony from Tidewater.I found a lot of Junk Jewelry today but no gold.When I turned around and headed back north about 830 here comes Low Tide Tim down the lane and Sarge was up in the dry sand hunting.Well after about 4 hours I decided I had enough for today and headed home.Here is a quick spin.
It was pretty warm and humid today and lots of clouds so no pretty sun rise again.
