For those that couldn't see the video, I've got some pics of the finds.
I was supposed to meet Mike at 8 but I left the beach early and got to the park a little after 7. It's an old park that used to be part of an estate that goes way back. When I got to the park, I noticed the old trees (anybody know what they are?).

So, I decided to work one while I waited for Mike to show up. I was using the 12.5" at the beach and forgot to switch to the stock. Rather than walk back to the car, I worked the trashy area around the tree anyway. My first target sounded real good. When I reached in, I could feel the big coin and knew I had something real good. Turned out to be an 1843 large cent

Mike picked up this whatsit... looks to be a copper decorative thingamagig

I found this bullet... anybody know what it is?
<img src=http://render2.snapfish.com/render2/is=Yup6aQQ%7C%3Dup6RKKt%3AxxrKUp7BHD7KPfrj%3DQofrj7t%3DzrRfDUX%3AeQaQxg%3Dr%3F87KR6xqpxQQ0nxaJexelexv8uOc5xQQQ0lnoGa0lQeqpfVtB%3F*KUp7BHSHqqy7XH6gXPGn%7CRup6lQQ%7C/of=50,590,442>
Mike then found this thing... Much larger than a silver dollar. Couldn't make out all the writing but we could make out the "US". Maybe part of a medal or medallion of some sort?

He also got this buckle:

All in all, we had a great time. While Mike's hunted this area a bunch of times, he never got anything old. So, at least he knows there's some history around.
