Some questions on the F2

Hey all.I want to add an F2, as a light weight backup machine to my CZ70. Is the volume adjustable?,what type of ground balance, fixed or adjustable?,what year did they start using screw in coil connectors? Are the batteries drop in, or do they have battery wires- ala bounty hunter ? Thanks for any info, tips or tricks.

The F2 is a good backup / loner machine for me in central Va. Volume is not ajustable. Fixed ground balance. Don't know the screw in year - mine's push in. Batteries are drop in. I got one the 1st year they came out and bought a Bounty Hunter 10" coil. Really impressed with relic finds in the woods. Do a search here for the F2 - you should find all the info you are looking for.

I have a review thread on another forum...a "friendly" metal detecting forum that has over5500 views, lots of tips, experiences, readings and results from many very happy F2 users.
Can't post a link to another forum here, so look for my name on a"F2 Review" search, or message me and I can hook you up.
