These are some finds that my wife and I found over the last few hunts! The last hunt my wife kicked my butt! We were at a mid 1800's home and although we didn't find anything real old, my wife found a sweet sterling silver ring!!
And I was over in that area earlier too! Figures! She also pulled out a 1936 Ohio Republican Campaign Committee Member Pin! I was really happy for her! We've been trying to find more info on it but haven't had much luck. I was just finding more wheat pennies than anything else. Another place was also an 1800's home with a baseball park next to it. We've been there a couple times before. Really trashy there! But I did manage to find what turns out to be a turn of the century Chinese coin!! Here is a link to get a better look at it!http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=36389&whichpage=2 It's not worth much but you gotta wonder how the heck did it get there! Also found a button that's worn out and some clad in the park area! Also a ring with a rhino on the face of it! Not sure if it's silver or not as it gave a lower sound and number. There are no markings on it. I did manage to find a few silver coins at two other different places! A 1936D toasted Merc, 1942D Merc,1964 Rosie and a 1944P War Nickel! An assortment of wheats , 1917 being the earliest, 1923 and the rest in the 30's and 40's!! My wife and I have been having a blast!
