Some resent colonial artifacts found with Tejon.

Realy just trying this stupid camera.Resent colonial finds with the tejon.Going to try some river areas within walking distance of my apartment today or soon.Hope to find evidence of colonial activity in this one creek side area. :O

Man those old relics ! I often wonder just who lost them and how & when ?
 
I have lived in the Charleston SC area my whole life and tracked the colonial settlement areas for some time.I can pretty much point out the area of ground and find artifacts from the early 1700''s-1800's time period relics.Buttons are most likely the first identifier of the activity of the early days.So you have to know what type articles of clothing most likely to find for the period of search.Once these type flat buttons are found then there is a chance to find colonial coins.So far, i have only found two coins.Very difficult to find.:O
 
I would think anywher in that state would have good hunting on any ground . any farm feilds you can get into ?
 
That's some super nice old stuff! I'm getting relic fever.
