Some Sunday Fun

Today I went back to the park Oldranger and myself hunted yesterday. Rather than hitting the playground area I circled some trees. I came up with a dime and then moved on to two other kiddy parks. They need to change the name of this thing to the Ace $.01. I found 8 pennies within an hour but nothing else.

Here is a little picture of what I found. Nothing amazing but I'm now at 43 coins for the season! Soon I can afford to buy one of the 4 batterys that need replaced!!!!

I've grown so tired of digging pennies that I notch them out and just look for nickels, dimes, quarters etc.. Only problem is that some pennies will chime in as a dime, so you still end up coming home with some. I am finding more dimes though.

GTI's will often ID quarters as cents until properly pinpointed so one could leave a slew of quarters behind.

You're able to be out metal detecting and finding coins, it's a win-win situation. wtg

I dig all the pennys but I won't dig a lot of nickle signals. My 250 rings up pull tabs as nickles...in fact I bet that 8 out of 10 "nickles" that I find turn out to be pull tabs. Really annoys me so I pretty much won't dig a nickle signal anymore.
