Someone at Minelabs marketing team has got this figured out

Looks like the guys in marketing came up with a good way to tap the accessory coil market. If Minelab comes out with 2 other coil sizes, that will give them a potential to offer 12 different coil vaiations.
Lets say for example if they offer a 5" the stock 9" and a 12" first you have them in the 7.5 khz concentric, then a 5,9, and 12 in 18 khz concentric. Next you could add a 5,9,12 in DD 7.5 khz and finally the 5,9, and 12 in 18 khz.

5...9..12 7.5 khz concentric
5...9..12 18 khz concentric
5...9..12 7.5 khz DD
5...9..12 18 khz DD

That's quite a market for one machine. I'm not complaining, as I'd love to have the options to pick and choose according to hunting conditions.

BTW...Does the X-50 have a threshold??? Thanks
