I see today is filled with prayer requests. Many not so good things happening. Let us continue to pray for the needs of others!

Now on to the second part of this post. Let's all give God the praise and Glory by posting one good thing that happened in the last 24 hours! (Big or small)
I will start. I had a very fun time yesterday with wife and daughters. We all went to dinner at a Chinese buffet where our detecting club was having a winter banquet. There were 28 in attendance and we all enjoyed the friends, fellowship, and food! :)
 
We went to Church last night. Enjoyed it and our little mini tones song for the Church. ( Mini Tones are our children that are 6 and under) They song three songs in front of the Church. They were having a great time. Then my wife and I went to eat with my Father and Mother, Plus the Pastor and his wife. Enjoyed having fellowship will them. ( Ho Had a salad with salmon) losing some weight, thank God ! That about it for me :)
 
One of the granddaughters just stopped by about a half hour ago. She was out looking for work. I told her that my favorite little hamburger joint(about a 1/2 mile from here) is looking for someone. I told her to stop by there and see what Lee( the owner) needs. Well she just called me and said he put her to work at 5 days a week. Starting at 8 in the morning. I hope them burgers are just good as they was last week I told her(haha). Glad I was able to help her out. Joe
 
Thanking the Lord for the strength and breath to pray and stand for others and for a great bunch of new friends.
 
Back in November I got a call from an emergency room doctor who saw Brian during one of our previous ER trips. She said she was on the board of directors of http://www.dreamconnection.org, and would like to submit Brian as a candidate to have one of his dreams fulfilled.

We were hoping he would be selected because one of his dreams was to go to Disney World. Well, they called Carol last week and said two reps would be out this afternoon at 3 and that he could pick three things he would like to have or do. Unfortunately, in his present condition he wouldn't be able to enjoy Disney World so he asked for a laptop, a digital video recorder and a PS3. They also asked if he would be interested in a printer. When they left they said they thought his requests would be fulfilled with the possible exception of the PS3 and that it would take a few weeks before they would be in contact.

Needless to say, Brian is very excited.

I'll be updating the Carepage later, so....you guys are the first to know!!!

My best friend went to church with me for the first time. Been trying to get him to come with me for about three years. Then he came over and had lunch with us. I am trying to get him into detecting.:crazy:
 
Our dyer broke this Saturday, no big deal, I just called today and it's fixed. Used to be something like that would set me off into a rage. I have the Lord's strength daily and am blessed daily by it. Our family is well, we have been blessed with projects at work, ministry at church is going well. I would have to say things are better than average. Praise God.
 
My wife and I teach the teen Sunday school class at our church, and yesterday we had a full class with all but one not present. We also had a great morning and night service. The good Lord gave me another day with my family. Still had my job to go to. Got to come back home to my family.I am blessed.

I found out my brother, who has been away from the Lord for many years, is BACK with the Lord.
 
Praise God for all the good reports. Sunday was a great day. We are trying to build the bus ministry back up. I am overseeing this, and we go out visiting on Saturdays. This Sunday we had two vans full. We are about two weeks away from getting the big bus back on the road, and we got a report that a church school in Richmond, Indiana called our church and offered to give us a bus if we want it. It's a 1995, in great shape with low miles. Sunday morning, one of the young girls who rides to church in one of the vans, got baptized. Alot of the riders come from bad homes, and I praise God for the work that he is doing through the transportation ministry.
 
Loved it! He must be feeling 100% ??
