Just wondering. For a XS user. What's the difference, in sound AND on smart find screen, between a zinc memorial, upper right, and a mercury dime?

THanks

Hi George. Good question. The answer depends on your Variability setting and whether you're in Conductive or Ferrous mode. Assuming the stock setting of Conductive and Variability=8, the dime will be higher pitched. If you go to the forum here "Erik's Audio World" there are samples of each and a few other coins. Listen with your headphones plugged into your computer for best results.

The cursor location on Smart Screen will not vary with any setting changes, just the audio will change. The silver will have a cursor a bit higher along the y-axis or vertical dimension. The sound you hear will always be relative to the cursor position along the y-axis (or x-axis in Ferrous).
