Speaking of great quotes from those who lived the Civil War.......

If you haven't before, check out this site http://www.brotherswar.com/Civil_War_Quotes.htm Lots of awesome info there. I continue to be in awe of these men, on both sides, from the Private to the General, they were just so different then, they were so articulate in their speech and their views. I've heard it said that every generation in better than the one that preceded it. I don't think I believe that. I don't know anyone today that can convey life and goodness and truth and honor in their everyday speech the way people did back then. Sadly I feel that we have all but lost our identity, apathy reigns.
