Today I was cleaning out a closet in my room a chore i,ve been putting off for far to long. I was going through a box with some cards and pictures and some other small items that I haden,t looked at in many years .I pick up what I though was a junk ring.I look inside and what shock when I seen the 10k mark it was my wedding band I had misplaced over 30 yrs ago how it got in the box I will never know . .My wife had since bought me a replacement that I still wear today. As I slipped it on It was almost as if my wife was placing it on my finger. As many of you know I lost my wife of 48 yrs to cancer 2yrs ago this May.So finding this lost ring after all these years makes it extra special .May God bless you all.Harold..

2 years already - time sure does fly.
We had a similar ring experience last Christmas. I had give my wife a gold ring years ago and it dissapeared some time. Looked everywhere, gave up. Then when we got out her santa collection for the holidays lo & behold there was the ring looped over a statue's hand.
Steve in so az

Very very nice, Im glad you found it. Things happen for a reason...:wiggle:

I think the Good Lord wanted you to find it, so it would make your day!
Now that is real treasure! :)

That is a beautiful story! I am so happy that you found your original wedding band...how comforting that must have been for you.

God Bless you ...and as I wasn't a member of this forum when your wife passed into God's arms, I want to now offer my sincerest sympathy on the loss in your life of your beloved wife...I will remember her in my prayers.

Going to guess you found that box before and digging through it lost the ring way back then. I and my wife both wear 2 rings on our left fingers. A long story behind that. If it fits, I'd wear both in memory of your wife.
Hope you can get out and do some detecting soon Harold.

God has given you a precious memory that you thought was lost forever, but the mysterious miracles of God are just amazing, since you found it just before Good Friday and Easter Sunday, and just before she left you in death in May 2 years ago! Isn't God just absolutely wonderful in His blessings and in the timing of them! May His Comforting strengjth be with you and yours always! I hope your family is okay and doing well!

God Bless & Happy Hunting with tremendous finds this years and the best of God's blissful health and happines to all!
