Spring is here! Almost here- Silver and gold - XP Deus and Gold Bug

Temps here in the Pacific NW are still in mid 40's.

Had a short hunt due to cold and rain.

First time out in a while, we almost took a year off. Got Deus all charged up and new batts for the pin-pointers and gold bug.
The wife was snug as a bug.

Local park, as usual digging all the memorials and most pull tabs left behind by other detectorists, 15 minutes into the hunt I get a 74 reading on the 4k freq , I know its a good target because of the depth reading.
Dig the plug, about 4 inches deep, pinpointer tells me the target is still in the hole, I dig around the target 1 scoop and out pops a coin ball. On the edge I can see the signs of a silver coin ridges and clear white metal, its small a 51 Rosie but still exciting as heck.
Before I touch it, I call the wife over to take a look at my accomplishment.

More memorials and few pull tabs later, I get a broken 61-74 odd signal with some depth on the scale. Carefully, I dig a 4-5 inch plug, again pin-pointer says its still in the hole, I dig around the target in one scoop and out pops a heavy sterling silver earring.

Meanwhile the wife and her Gold Bug a few feet away, calls me over to witness her find, a small vintage bone style sterling silver ring.

We continue cleaning up with memorials some clad and plenty of pull tabs, when she calls me over to see what she has uncovered, a small and beautiful gold ring. Her 5th gold ring of all time, I have yet to find a gold ring. I found a heavy 10k bracelet in past but that's it.

Score is O-5- she is the best!!

Here's a few pics.

Thanks for looking and good luck!!

Very nice finds! Your lucky to have a wife interested in the hobby and to have her support and encouragement:thumbup:!

Nice rings ! What's the stone on the ring. In the photo it looks either black or dark green ? Onyx, emerald ?

Thanks for the nice comments, wife say's it's a dark blue sapphire, tiny little stone. Can't wait for the weather to clear up and get back out there!
