Based on the 10 people who have replied to my ratio of silver dimes to silver quarters question
using only the data I had it comes out as follows.
3032 Dimes
455 Quarters
= 3032:455 or apx. 6.66 to 1
If I eliminate Keith's bucket full of silver. Which I thought may have an overwhelming impact.
It comes out like this.
545 Dimes
58 Quarters
= 545:58 or apx. 9.39 to 1
So now I know that somewhere between 6 and 10 silver dimes found, my Explorer owes me a silver quarter.
I just had a curiosity attack:
Thanks Everyone

That sounds about right. My ratio was 7.2222 ... 65 silver dimes to 9 silver quarters.

Close to what you said, somewhere between 6 and 6.5 to 1. (55 silver quarters 376 silver dimes)

I also have found 11 barber dimes but 0 barber quarters...so if the ratio holds correct, my next quarter must be a barber...here's hoping anyway!
