Staying home from going to church...sick...speaking of sick...

I know everyone has their own thoughts on Halloween - especially for children. I do not want to start any arguement but this morning being Halloween morning Casey (19) is taking Leelan to church. He isn't dressed in any costume - but she is  Blue wig, a tiara, some kind of wand long blue dress, blue necklace with an open neck in the front. Says she is some character from Candyland.

I ask myself how many times can she make things 'about her' and keep slapping God in the face before something happens.

Sunday is God's day in my household and it is 'about Him' not 'about us'.

Let's just say I will NEVER understand what is going through that girl's head....but I can see where her heart is.

Please keep her in your prayers.

Feel better soon.....! I will pray that Casey will find her way. Leeland is getting old enough now to be affected by her decisions. Halloween was celebrated yesterday around these parts. We had made the decision that Loren wouldn't trick or treat on Sunday even if the county deemed that "the day". It wouldn't have been a big issue with her this year-she's only 4 and since we take her to family and friends homes only, she would have been taken care of last night regardless. I'm sure many will still be out tonight-didn't see many children out last night and traffic was nil.

Still this day should be about God. Sorry I got things twisted. Didn't get much sleep last night due to the vomiting, coughing and drugs for pain.

Sorry to hear that you are so ill! Sounds like you have been attacked and have what has or is going around that makes people very sick for a while! My son-in-law, Tami's husband had been very ill, also, and couldn't work for 3 or more days! I pray you will be back on your feet soon and feeling much better in the healing virtue or our Lord Jesus! As far as Casy, the more we pray for her, the worse she will become, because satan doesn't want to turn her loose, until she finally accepts Jesus as her own personal Savior by the leading of God's love through His Holy Spirit calling and then indwelling within her soul! She is still young and is following the world and wants to be like those who are sinning and dressing in wierd ways and I'm sure you know what I mean! Some look worse than the uneducated and unsaved souls of African natives with their ugly ways of doing things differently! Just keep praying and loving her regardless of what she says or does, but you can also speak the Word of God to her for correction and reproof, but it is up to God to do His salvation grace within her at the time she really does submit her all and begins worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth, but in the mean time, she is going to go against what you want for her and Leelan! I pray that Leelan keeps protected from all the sin and darkness Casey is bringing into his life and that is were you can step in and make sure he is loved and prayed for by you and Sherry and by the prayers of your Brothers and Sisters-in-Christ! Keep the loving light burning in the windows of your hearts and Casey will find her way Home sooner or later, but hopefully sooner! Dear Lord, Please hear our prayers for Casey, Leelan, Sherry and Pete for them to have comfort, peace and protection in Your caring love, in Jesus' precious name, I pray! Amen! Ma Betty
