Step Dad cancer update

TURNMASTER

Active member
Thanks to all who did/are praying for my family!
My dad is seeing an MD over in Post Falls ID who specializes in natural cures. This doc has given him a whole boat load of stuff to boost his immune system. Says in two weeks they will start on killing the cancer. This Doc says WE WILL not we might or I don't know.
The other docs had only given him that long to live.
The stuff does tend to make him feel better - a little at least.
Apparently this guy has won in the face of equally poor odds.

We will see what God chooses to do and how God will let this play out.

God Is Good
Jeff

Praying for him Jeff. Thanks for the update.

I hope the natural herbs cure him of the cancer and my prayers are with you all that good will come out of this to glorify and praise God Who is goooood and always is! Others have done this and have been cured! May His will be done! Amen! God Bless! Betty

I was up to see him this afternoon and he has decided the Doc in ID is a quack.
He says he is going to see a laywer tomorow about his will but I have heard that before.
He also says he will have nothing to do with Hospice.
He says he is not in pain but I think he is.

Thanks Everyone
Jeff

My prayers are with you all! He will proably go in Hospice Care if he gets to feeling too badly with pain and etc. unless he has lots of ins to cover the hospital and drs care! Cliff, my brother, was in the hospital and don't know for sure if his ins coverage was over with, but when they reach a certain point and there is no chance to live without life support, which they may never come off of, then they are put in Hospice which usually isn't very long until they pass on without medical care! They just keep them comfortable and without pain until they breathe their last! I sure miss my brother, but he was very, very ill with no hope unless God would have healed him miracously at the age of 72! God Bless! Betty

Ma Betty (and anyone who reads)
He will not go to live out his last in the hospital, won't happen.
Very unlikely he will take any help from hospice at all. He never could accept help.
He likely choose to live with the pain to the last. He is like that. Won't complain of a hurt ever! Never did never will.
Some of it has something to do with the fact he was addicted to alcohol for a fair portion of his adult life.
Was about 15 years ago he was in a horrible crash, the aftermath of which took him on a path which lead him to the Lord three years later.
That is why I said in another post that this was his second chance. He would have died without a signature to proceed with surgery, even his own brother wouldn't sign.

I am thankful somebody was there who was willing to accept the responsibility.
I am thankful I will, one day, see him in Heaven.

I pray God will take him sooner rather than later. That is a hard prayer to make, but... I believe it would be best. (this time)

With a Brotherly Love
Jeff

He is in God's care and His will shall be done! Cliff never complained either at home or in the hospital! The nurses all said he was a sweet, sweet man! He would have done anything he could for anybody....even give his last dollar if someone else needed it more! May your stepdad know that he is enfolded in Jesus' loving arms and when it is time, His Spirit will go back to God Who gave it and someday we all will receive our immortal and incorruptible bodies to dwell in forever and ever! Amen! God Bless! Betty
