Sterling Spoon pin

JMC

New member
Once again the 5.75 on the Vaquero in an area I've pounded with larger coils. A tiny sterling silver spoon pin in very good shape.

That is a very different find , sterling is so much better than the plated brass. NICE FIND""

Thats a lovely and unusual find,as its got a heart one end i am thinking it could be what we would call a 'Love Spoon' of course i could well be wrong but it would make alot of sense,in the shape of a spoon with the love heart at the other end and presented to a lady from a admirer.

Looks like an old snuff spoon for ladies.

Those smaller coils can really snipe between the trash targets to pull out some goodies as your pic shows! Looks Victorian to me and having a mark of Sterling just makes it better:)

Thats a really cool pin. You never know what surprise will come out of the ground .
