Strange pricing on the Land Ranger Pro

Bounty Hunters are sold at a different pricing structure. No Minimum Advertised Pricing structure like most other detectors.

Lately, the costs of the LRP has actually escalated. The biggest store, had the original pricing at $257. They dropped it to $228 for the last month. It's sold out and now the price is $306.

Same with the largest online retailer. The low was $242, it's sold out, and now the price is $357.

Trying to figure out if it's company greed for Christmas and it'll all settle down to pre Christmas pricing, or did FTP increase the price of the LRP due to it's popularity. The Lone Star Pro and Quick Draw Pro isn't going through these price spikes.

Strange.

It's all supply and demand not change in costs. Those super low prices are from massive bulk buys and almost zero margins.

Fwiw my $299 pricing has never changed.

And $299 is a good price for the after purchase help provided by dealers. Even at the lesser price, once you add the taxes big chains add and sometimes shipping, the cheaper price isn't actually that advantageous. Local Dealers usually provide a better experience with added benefits the chains cannot provide.
