Strange things happening...

Last night as Sherry, Casey and I were watching TV and playing with our computers we heard a light switch go CLICK as though someone just flipped the switch. There is no one else here. Dogs don't flick switches and Leelan was sleeping. Nothing found.

Just a bit ago, as Sherry and I are sitting in the living room we heard a door close in the hallway. Casey is at work. Leelan is asleep. Thought maybe a dog got trapped in a room so Sherry went and checked. All the dogs are asleep (3 in the living room) and Doobie is in his 'cubbie'. Leelan is asleep. There are NO windows open to cause a draft to blow or suck a door shut.

The heater didn't come on at the time either so.... :shrug:

Only ghost I believe in is the Holy Ghost and am sure He doesn't go around flipping switches or closing doors.
 
Pray for God to bless and purify every room then praise and thank Him for keeping you safe from all enemies! You might even sprinkle a little holy water around but all I ever did was asked God to bless and purify each room as I went through my house! Never had any ghosts that I know of but I always felt better and I was at peace when I did this and even the basement and bathrooms! :angel: God Bless! Betty
 
Get that kinda thing up at my step-dads a lot. Or have over the past 40 or 50 years. Stories like what you describe and then some. Lights turn on or off when you are in he room. Butter dish slides across the counter while sister watches it. Locked doors open, all were locked just checked. Happened to many individuals not just one or two nut cases. Ghosts? No! Supernatural ABSOLUTELY! Most of these incidents can be attributed to angles or demons. The number of happenings at the old mans place have been vastly reduced since he became a Child of God. There has been seen a monster on the half mile long driveway by two men. There are many who will not go there because the property is "Haunted". At least one "Christian" will not go there because he believes the place is possessed, don't know the man personally. Some rumors say the Indians used the area for ritual type stuff in centuries past. I could go on for hours about this stuff and that property.

Many will say you are a cook for even mentioning this sort of thing... Many Christians do not believe in events of the super natural variety. Yet they believe in God.

Sometimes as a Man works in Gods plan the attacks will be stepped up against him (or her). The kind of events you describe could easily be used to discredit an otherwise honorable man. They could be designed to distract one from Gods plan and get you looking away to ghosts and goblins.

Pray for protection and Gods favor my friend.

I am with you TURNMASTER I believe in demons to have been around a few instances that People had to pray very hard and bold to get the situation calm and gone . I could go into a alot of detail but it would take all night . We serve a awesome GOD who has power over satan and his followers . Pray against satan in JESUS NAME ,and pray protection over your home and family . I will be praying for you and your house Pete.
 
Sherry said 3 times today she heard Leelan in his crib crying.

Leelan is not here. He is at the babysitters - been there all day.

Leelan has been crying - almost terrified - to go to sleep at night....every night for a while now.

I do believe in demons....fallen angels doing the bidding of their master - satan. I also believe in God's holy angels as protectors of those who are God's children.

Doobie, our little miniature pinscher, has suffered some nasty gashes to his side...down into the flesh. We first thought it to be an accident with a bigger min-pin....now I am seeing this is not the case...in a spiritual view of this.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Will be speak with God about these events and talking TO the demons IN THE NAME OF JESUS to be cast out of this place.
 
Now that is starting to sound like what happened to my family . My daughter was scared of her room and kept saying she seen monsters in there and would scream like crazy if we put her in there. And it got worse from there I will just say you need to pray over your home and pray like never before you have to be real harsh with satan and let him know who your GOD is . I have to go to a meeting with my preacher now about our youth revival . But we have a book lent out right now that deals with this kind of thing best one I have ever read. I will ask my wife the name of it and tell you tommorrow . Everyone wants to borrow this book because this preacher has dealt with this kind of thing . I had never been around this sort of thing until it happened to us and that is when I started studying up on it and seeking GODs guidance. Praying Travis.
 
Hello Pete, this is 7centsworths wife. I was reading your posts and felt led to go ahead and post. Travis won't be home until late and I thought you might need some info tonight. As Travis said, we went thru a time when our home was under attack. It was very unnerving. After one particularly bad night, we decided we needed to learn more about spiritual warfare. We found a book that is fabulous. It is "The Invisible War", by Chip Ingram. It's based on Ephesians 6 and is very solid biblically. We learned SO much. The book goes into detail about putting on the whole armor of god, how to pray against demons, etc. we have loaned this out to several ppl and EVERYONE is so impressed with the book. As Christians, we need to learn how to be prepared for battle at all times!!! Praying for your family.

I BELIEVE THAT GHOSTS ARE A MYTH,GODS WORD DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS MYTH.WHAT IT DOES MENTION IS DEMONS THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE BIBLE.YOU CAN READ HOW DEMONS ATTACK A GROUP OF MEN PASSING THEMSELVES AS APOSTLES.REMEMBER HOW JESUS CAST THE DEMONS OUT OF THE DEMONIC MAN AND CAST THEM ON A HEARD OF PIGS THEY WENT CRAZY AND THEY RAN OFF A CLIFF?DEMONS ARE FOR REAL FOLKS THEY POSSESS UNSAVED SOULS NOT A CHRISTIANS THAT KNOWS THE LORD.HOWEVER ,DEMONS CAN OPRESS A CHRISTIAN BUT THROUGH PRAYER IN THE NAME OF JESUS THEY WILL FLEE!!!:thumbup:AS A CHRISTIAN YOUR BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLYSPIRIT,THEREFORE THE HOLY SPIRIT AND DEMONS CANNOT EXSIST IN THE SAME BODY!!EITHER YOU SERVE THE:devil:OR YOU SERVE THE LORD ,YOU CANNOT DO BOTH.THIS MIGHT SEEM SILLY,OR NONSENSE BUT IT WORKS!!YOU SEE THE DEMON POWERS CANNOT PUT UP WITH THE PRAISES AND WORSHIP OF THE LORD.SO IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS JUST PUT ON SOME CHRISTIAN WORSHIP MUSIC ,TURN IT ON LOUD AND YOU WILL SEE THE RESULTS--------------THAT IS IF IT WERE REAL DEMONS THERE?:angel:

While I was at work tonight and Sherry was in the bedroom resting she heard Bruce our cat run down the hall way as he has done so many times before.

Bruce was put to sleep a week or two ago. The running sound is distinct...was not any of the other animals that could make that sound.

Let's pray ~ Father...Your Word tells us that the evil ones time here on this earth is limited and he's pulling out all the stops to frighten Your children and disrupt their lives. Father ~ by Your Holy Spirit & Your Holy Angels, protect Pete & his family. Bring peace into their home and stop these unusual situations that weigh on their minds. I pray and ask it in the Name of Jesus...Amen.
