Has anyone else had zinc pennies (for me its the ones that are corroded most of the time) register as screw tops with their Omega or any of the other teknetics detectors?
 
don't recall digging many screw caps with my t-2 but zincs have always been in the same range as screw caps on the other detectors i use. i believe they would be the same or pretty close on the t-2
 
Well some of the zinc pennies register under zinc others under screw caps its just weird, but like I said i think it has something to do with the pennies that have started to deteriorate. If I'm at a place I know there should only be a few screw caps if an at all I'll dig because so far I've found 3 or 4 rings that have registered as screw caps. HH Jimmie
