summer harvest

:confused:Getting a bit concerend, if the T2 or the F75, will be up to the job when the harvest comes round, and need to use these detectors in the hard stubble,I have only used mine on very short grass or ploughed land ,will this fine detector be up to it ,I personally hope so ,but it does not look good ,

JM, I believe the T2 will work ok in the stubble. You can swing just above the stubble if it isn't too high and still get good signals and depth. As you can see in my post that I cracked the hand grip yesterday and had to tape it. I think bumping trees and stumps over a period of time will cause the grip to crack and it cracked on the right side of the grip. If you are right handed you will have more force swing from right to left so you get more force when you bump something. When I get a chance I'm going to send it in for repair, but in the mean time I,m going to run some strips of strapping tape from the controls under the shaft and up the other side then wrap it good with electrical tape so it will be good and strong. When I get it repaired I,m going to wrap it the same way and I shouldn't have any more trouble with it cracking no matter how hard I bump it. First Texas should make a grip that is a little bigger and thicker so that it is not likely to crack. They could also brace it. The T2 is not perfect but its the only one I want to use.
