Sunday morning silver

Got up early Sunday morning because I was meeting a couple of buddies around 7:00 A.M. to go to a group hunt in Portland (Maine).By 6:00 I was just sitting around waiting to leave so I decided to start the hunt early at a park nearby before meeting them. After only a few minutes I got a good solid silver signal. I put my Lesche into the ground and up pops a nice 1944 Merc. Probably 10 minutes later I got another nice silver signal. This time it was a really sweet 1913 Barber dime. I'm thinking 2 nice silver coins in twenty minutes of hunting... this is going to be a good day. I went to meet my buddies and off we went. . We had a great day of seeing old and new friends , didn't find anything noteworthy but my day was already made with those two dimes.

That is the only reason I would possibly be up that early....way to go !!

I really don't know what held me back...daylight ?. That's what they make head lamps for ,isn't it ?:detecting:

Nothing is sweeter than popping 2 Silver's early in the morning....especially when one is a sweet Barber Dime. Congrats on the Dimes and Good Luck and HH to you on your next hunt out.
