Sunray 8" coil

I have a Sunray 8" coil that I use on my Exp.2...the other day it started falsing on anything it touches to the point I can't hunt with it. Has anyone else had this problem?? Is there any other 8" coils available besides the Minelab coil?? I e-mailed Sunray about it yesterday...apparently they don't return e-mails...
