SunRay Stealth X-5 coil reports for Explorer XS?

Stealth X-5 coil and Explorer depth?

Anybody here use the Stealth x-5 SunRay coil on their Explorer? If so, any advantages over the stock coil?

It must be better finding coins on edge?

Also what about depth reports (not including Florida). The reason I say not including Florida it because most of Florida has hardly any minerals unless I'm mistaken.

Thanks,

Tony

Hi Tony,
I've had great luck with my Stealth X-5 coil. I usually use the
Minelab stock 10" coil. That's too big for sites with lots of trash
or good targets. I don't know about on edge coins, but its sure great
at separating targets that are close together. Found a 1901-O Morgan
Dollar Last year in the midst of screwcaps, pulltabs, zinc cents and
other stuff.

The 5 inch coil has its place just like the 15 inch WOT does. With the 5 inch coil the main purpose is for target separation in those area where targets are close together. I find the 5 inch coil has got me quite a few nice coins like barber dimes and even a very nice walking lib half in areas that had been hit for years and missed. The reason is it was close to another target, but the 5 inch coil was able to see these coins in with trash the bigger coils could not.
Depth wise I have dug around 6 inches on a coin size object and got a very good signal.
For my Explorer I have the 5 inch coil, the Joey and the X12 coil as they do great for my hunting needs.
