Surfmaster vs Sand Shark

Does any know how the old Whites Surfmaster compares to the Tesoro Sand Shark for use on salt water beaches?

Old model no, but the P.I.Pro was deeper on my beaches than the Sandshark. Sandshark is nice and stable in the surf so should not be discounted. uS for the Sandshark is 22, old Surfmaster 25 and Pro version 15 (?) so in theory better but at the same time they removed the pulse delay which for me was a backward step.

Sorry to jump in but what does uS mean???

LS hunter, uS = microseconds. In this discussion, UK Brian is referring to the pulse delay, which is the time delay from when the power to the coil is turned off and the target sample is taken.

UK Brian, you are correct, the Surfmaster PI Pro has a fixed 15 uS pulse delay.
