Hammered gold coin from Venice, Italy. Called " Zecchini ". Struck sometime between 1595-1605. My first Gold coin.

OK Mud (-: I found this May 2007 in a pasture field about 3 inches deep close to the city of Hanau, Germany I posted a picture yesterday of a silver coin from 1532, this was found about 2 miles from where I found this silver coin from 1532. The pictures do not do it justice, I am still learning this whole photo thing and posting pictures thing..

I was stationed near Hanau in 1987 in the army...Too bad I was not into detecting back then...

HH I was stationed in Budingen from 1983-1990 and in Friedberg from 1981-1983.( Where Elvis Presley was stationed at in the Army ). I owned the H&R Block in Hanau, Darmstadt & Giessen from 1993-2008.
