T 2 and on edge and slanted coins

I have devoted all my detecting time the last two weeks to learning the language of the T 2. Fortunately, it is very similar to my F 75 and as a result, I have been making a few nice recoveries. I have recovered 7 silver coins, 2 of which were war nickels, a couple dozen or so wheaties, 2 Buffalo nickels and 1 small silver ring. But, to the point. This morning I got 2 Mercs and the silver ring. All three of these targets were on edge or very slanted. Both of the dimes were about 5" deep and the id bounced from 79-84. The ring was only about 3" deep and did lock of 83. I, however, was using 4 tones and both of the dimes hit first with the 3rd tone and then 4th high tone when sweeping the coil across the targets. The first dime was totally on edged and the second was almost. I was running disc. 6 and 85 sen. at the time. Many of you long time T 2 swingers undoubtedly are aware of the readings and tones of coins on edge and slanted, and if so, this is for any new T 2 swingers.Simply put, check those iffy, bouncy signals.
