T-2 Current Revision?

I bought my T-2 in March 2006 and it's never had a revision. I assume if I send it back to the factory they'd take care of the latest revision? If so, how much and which revision would it be?

Thanks so much.

I might add that I have hunted very little since purchasing the unit as I've been busy renovating our home and busy at work. Consequently I haven't been able to keep up with this forum either. Thanks for any help some of the pros on here can give.

If your T2 has the "dp" tone mode you have the current R6 machine. Another way to tell is to press and hold the trigger forwards and hold in the Mode button, then turn on the detector. The revision will show on the display. 6.0 is the most current. You can also check the manual that came with it, it has "Revision Level 6.0, March 28, 2006" on the front.

The change took place in March of 2006, so you may already have the newest T2. Or you may have come in just prior. Some people prefer the earlier 5.0 version, which may over time make the early machines desireable in the eyes of some users.
