The first photo is of the earlier prototype configuration that had the reinforced plastic arm-cup and battery/speaker housing, with a variation of the final production coil design.

The second photo is of the final production configuration as presently coming off the production line.

No, but I did find the dancing girls video. You access it through the program guide. Channel 574. Comes on right after Gunsmoke.

What size is the coil on the T-2?
And could you show Photo of screen Detecting (say) a
dime at 6" ? The VDI # and Depth #.

The T-2 coil is an 8x11 inch double-D design. That photo would have to be at least two photos because the VDI number switches to the depth number while in the pinpoint mode. I tried to get the "ghost images" of the other screen functions in the screen-shot to give an idea as to their location and information provided. Each segment just darkens when functioning in it's particular mode of operation as any standard LCD type screen.
