T-2 versus F-75

For those who have owned both I'd like to know if you see any major differences between the two. I'm trying to decide on which one to buy, and would rather save the $150 if the only difference is a few bells and whistles. Thanks for your help.

until this week I would of said f-75 but i picked up a brand spanking new t-2 to replace my old t-2 and its an awesome machine seems to be hotter than my first t-2 plus its built better new no flex handle and new lower pole the same as the fishers are using. coil build quality has reached perfection it usually takes awhile to get things tooled up and i belive the t-2 has reached its apex just a flawless design at this point but the f-75 is there as well.I belive it all comes down to what features you want.If its relics or coins the f-75 is a better coin machine to use in modern areas of junk.

Heres what Ive noticed

When you run the f-75 in process mode default its not as hot on brass as the t-2.

when you run the f-75 on jewelry mode its hotter than the first t-2 i had but the newer t-2 seems to be able to run sensitivity hotter thus approaching the sensitivity of the je mode f-75 maybe a tad better with less noise coming in to play.

I belive either mode on the f-75 is deeper on coins than the t-2 maybe an inch or so.

Im going to hit some sites with the new t-2 and see if it will pull things behind the f-75 .

right now im saying there close real close.

So it boils down to get a brand new t-2 to be sure of the newest advances or f-75 with more options about equal in ground performance 160.00 more dollars.

If you relic hunt t-2 is all you need if you want to relic hunt and coin hunt the f-75 might offer you better modern trash handling abilities .

also the f-75 is a noisier detector over the t-2 and the target I'D jumps around more while the t-2 seems to just lock on. something to do with the way it processes the info.the f-75 will I'D deeper but the accuracy on the real deep ones is going to be off.

Choices Choices.

There both way ahead of the competition.

I love the simplicity and power of the t-2 plus I like it because its revolutionized detecting to me anyway. I remember people poking fun at me last year for using one now everyones wanting one.Who would of ever thought a company we've all made jabs at over the years would go and build a detector like this.

Always expect the unexpected.
