T2 and Sensitivity at 5?

Ronk

What's the deal about the T2 with the sensitivity on 5 and getting the same depth as higher settings and running quieter? I read the post somewhere but I don't understand what the poster was saying.Could someone please explain this to me?

I think your referring to the discrimination at 5...This gives a little boost.........also 50 disc seems to put the T2 in overdrive.

I dont think youll find this in the manual but if you put your sensitivty below 5 on the F75 and Im pretty sure he said the T2 as well it puts the machine into a super boost and is like running the sense full bore with out all of the instability to the ID that a higher sens gives{I think default is 85 or so ?}

The T2 that i have is version 6.5 so does this have the boost version as you call it below disc 5 and above 50,am i right in saying that the below 5 option would be the best way to go ??? basically i run mine at sens 80-85,disc 5,tone2+ as i detect in the UK these seem to be the best setting for depth.I have on order the 15x12 SEF coil that i intend to use on pasture so would i have to reduce my settings when i add this larger coil.
