T2 BOOST QUESTION

DOES THE REGULAR T2 REALLY HAVE A BOOST AT 0 DISCRIMINATION.

Do an air test but it sure seemed like that too me. It also has one at 51. Watch this, but it's in a foreign language Video
I think it's a true boost in gain and not one of receiving, but could be wrong, anyone?

It appears to me that he first tested those objects at 20 not 0. I also noticed that those targets sounded better at 20, than at 51. JMO, I might have missed something in the translation.

When you go from 50 to 51 you can often notice what sounds like more interference in the unit, so there is something to what quite a few knowledgeable detectorists have said regarding the unit through there testing, not including that video.

Yes it does

Well thanks to the advice on this forum i have been running 0 disc and finding buttons in iron at 0.Before i was running 40 disc and the sites were not trashy at all.You really need to know whats in the ground.
What a great place for information.
Thanks all..
John

Try fast scanning with the T2 held in pinpoint mode. For sparse target areas, you'll zoom in on something quick if it's there.

The original F75 had a boost at 20+ and below 5 (I think, its a long time since I had one). My original T2 had a boost at 40+, the next version at 50+. So there's boosts to be had but they might not be in the same place with all versions.

Really interesting. Do you think it was an actual boost in transmit power or in sensitivity? (I don't know how one could really tell though.)
