Last week I visited a fresh farm and found the Pin Knife pictures possible 60 years old remarkable that it is still in good order. Good Sheffield steel ! The other object from my ancient site is a votive ring made from a broken Roman brooch. This is common at this site although usual they are made from broken bracelets. Once made they were thrown onto the site as a gift to the local gods who were Celtic rather than Roman.
